Corrour Estate is set in 57,000 acres of the most wonderful Highland scenery. Before the nineteenth century, it was a wilderness where shepherds summered their flocks and drovers took their cattle to market.

The original lodge was destroyed by fire in 1942, and in 2003 architect Moshe Safdie created a new lodge, a stunning twentieth-century construction of granite, steel and glass, nestling between the surviving arms of its Victorian predecessor on the bank of Loch Ossian. The lodge’s geometric composition echoes the grandeur of its surrounds, with pyramid glass towers connecting it with the wilderness beyond.

Guests can relax and entertain in its many public rooms, dining hall, grand hall, sitting room, library and games room. The lodge is let on a fully catered basis and the team at Corrour take pride in providing you with the very best local cuisine and hospitality. They are on hand to make your stay an exceptional and memorable experience.

Arriving by train is the most romantic way to arrive at Corrour. The West Highland ScotRail brings you directly to their own railway station,Corrour Station, the highest railway station in the UK. Take the direct overnight sleeper service to London and arrive in time for breakfast! Country Life magazine described it as ‘the most romantic place to get off a train in Britain’.

After a day of activities relax in the traditional Scandinavian sauna looking out over Loch Ossian, or head up to the cedar hot tub located on the roof of the Lodge with views all the way down Loch Ossian and across the surrounding mountains.

There is so much to do at Corrour. Pony trekking on the estate’s Icelandic ponies, mountain biking, clay pigeon shooting, target shooting and stalking are all available on the estate. Guided nature walks are available as well. For the keen walker, Corrour Estate offers walks suited to any standard. They have several Corbett’s and Munro’s on the estate.

The Lodge can sleep up to 28 guests with 7 luxurious and unique double en suite rooms, each with stunning views across Loch Ossian. There is a children’s ‘bunk’ room for 14 smaller guests! The children’s bunk room has been designed by Pinewood Studios in the theme of a pirate ship.

Additional add on accommodation is available in estate cottages furnished to a very high standard.

After a day of activities relax in the traditional Scandinavian sauna looking out over Loch Ossian, or head up to the cedar hot tub located on the roof of the Lodge with views all the way down Loch Ossian and across the surrounding mountains.

Take a dip in the Loch or fish for wild brown trout and rather large Pike.

Walkers will appreciate the abundance of ‘Munro’s’ – mountains at least 3,000 feet high, and all the other opportunities to bag a ‘Corbett’ or ‘Graham’

There is also a fantastic games room with it’s own full size pool table for an after dinner challenge!

Further afield you are ideally placed for visits to the Isle of Skye, Ardnamurchan Peninsula, Loch Ness and the many local Whisky Distilleries. Ben Nevis, Scotland’s highest mountain, is close by and can be seen from many areas of the estate.
